Step 4: Set up your email

Every NetNation hosting plan comes with at least one email account. You can access the e-mail for this account several ways.

You can use NetNation's Web-based email interface, SiteMail. SiteMail, available at, lets you check your email at any time and from any location as long as you have Internet access and a Web browser. All you need is your email address and password.

You can also use a traditional email client, such as Microsoft Outlook or Netscape Communicator, to check your mail. If you would like to use an email client to check your mail, you will need to configure it to work with NetNation's mail server. If you do not want to use an email client, you can skip this step. If you chose to skip this step, continue with the Step 5 to configure your file transfer client.

To learn how to set up your email client:

  1. On the Email page, click the email client that you would like to use.
  2. Detailed instructions for setting up the selected email client display. You can always get back to this email setup page by clicking Support->Self Help->Reading my email in the AccountManager Menu system.
  3. Click the Skip this step link at the bottom of the page and then continue with Step 5 to learn how to configure your file transfer client.
